Who gets the Jewish vote? Pat Buchanan? Or is that only when Katherine Harris is monitoring the election. Ouch!
The political videos keep coming, with this funny, insurance-commercially one by the National Jewish Democratic Council. (I really want to make a self-inflicting “goya” joke here but only a long lost Jewish ex-boyfriend would get it). So without further ado, here’s A Yiddisha Take on 2008
And as mentioned here the other day, this is the time for political videos as the YouTube election comes to a close. A new study by Compete and Cisco shows, if you’re watching political videos online you’re more engaged in this election than your fellow Americans who don’t.
Chris Albrecht for NewTeeVee.com, reports:
“Online video viewers are also more engaged in this campaign season than non-online video watchers, as 62 percent of online video watchers say they followed the election “very closely” as opposed to 37 percent of non-online video watchers.”
That’s all well and good, but why watch web tv when you can shoot it yourself on election day. Video the Vote will dispatch a trained volunteer to capture those evil demons that keep popping up in polling places on presidential elections. You know those evil demons, especially the ones they got down in Florida and Ohio. Hear this year Virginia, especially in the Shenandoah Valley, could use all the election protection it can get.
But if what they call election protection didn’t save us in 2000 and 2004 then maybe we do need to get the camcorders and cell phone cameras out and post that proof ourselves. Who or what is going to be the Katherine Harris this year?
I put my money on this.
